Recent painting: Purple Mayan Tartan. Oil on canvas. 24 x 36” Photo taken on art punch night with Jeff Martin. I pulled the color scheme from memories of my Aunt Barb (she is one of the best patrons of my art, and art in general, that I know) who I have always thought of as someone who loves purples and greens… for some reason.

More peeks of recent work. New painting, hunter orange tribute to my cousin Jimmy Meade who I hope is somewhere painting right now… oil on canvas.
I spent the afternoon with my good friend Jeremy White yesterday. Jeremy is a talented musician who writes and produces some dope music. Apart from that he runs a food truck in D.C. called the Tops Truck. If you’re ever in D.C. you’ve got to look the Tops truck up. Find it on twitter and you can find it in D.C. Their twitter tag is @TopsTrucks. I’m so proud to be a truckie and to sport the t-shirts these guys came up with. Killer design by @wahldesign .
I’m very happy to say that I’m working on a painting for Jeremy and his lovely wife Jo. I’m also happy to say that my friend Kendra finally got her painting. It’s the painting in the top right corner. Kendra’s painting is inspired by the fraternity of the unicorn. I’m not at liberty to tell you what that is.
Jeremy, thanks for your kind words and thanks for wanting to hang my work in your home. I’m honored. Kendra… ditto.
